Your spring "Break Free" destination is Austin TX this March 31st. The home of the Capital, Longhorns, SXSW and everything "Weird" is now home to the Jailbreak and the 1st Annual Austin Beer Fest! Get Dirty, Have Fun and Do Good at Decker Park, then rinse off a little before going next door to the Travis County Expo Center for more bands, more food and more brew!

*The 9am wave is our competitive wave, this is the only wave that will be chip timed and the only wave eligible for overall placements. If you would like to be chip timed in a later wave it will be a $5 charge.
After Party
When the mud stops flying the party is just beginning with our friends at the Austin Beer Fest! All Jailbreak participants will receive a coupon code for $5 off admission!
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick up will be held at RunTex Riverside on Friday March 29th from 12-6 or on race day onsite at Decker Park.
Special Note
The Jailbreak will be happening rain or shine. Because of the logistics of planning for a race of this size, we cannot offer refunds for any reason, other than military deployment (with proof of paperwork). In the event that weather creates an unsafe environment for participants, Jailbreak Race Events will postpone the event for a few hours or up to a few weeks, if you are unable to run during the new time you will be eligible to transfer your registration to another Jailbreak event but will not be eligible for a refund.

FAQs
What is Run the Jailbreak?
The Jailbreak is an off the grid adventure run covering 3.1 miles over 15-20 muddy, wet, fun obstacles.
What does my $$ get me??
Muddy, Dirty and Tired, an event t-shirt, a medal and a beer
(for those who are 21 and up).
What do I need to bring?
Change of clothes if you desire. $$ for additional food, beverage and raffles.
Who can do this?
Anyone over the age of 14. You don't have to be a highly skilled athlete to participate and will have the option of going around any obstacle you do not feel comfortable doing.
Are there different divisions? Chip timing?
The Jailbreak has a competitive wave at 9am that is chip timed, if you are running in a later wave and wish to be chip timed you may make that selection during your registration (there is a $5 charge for chip timing if you are not in the competitive wave).
Divisions are based on age and gender: 14-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, over 60
